The car is a true beauty. It is in immaculate condition and it's clear to see how much love and care goes into the upkeep. It was the perfect prop for my engagement photoshoot. If you are in the Santa Barbara area and looking for a fun cruise in a 5 speed manual 1969 Shelby Cobra this is it! The Shelby runs strong and shifting through the gears is amazing. Truly a memorable experience I'll never forget.

I really want to give 4.8 stars. there is only one fact and that is of communication. I did have to ask to be put in to contact with the chauffeur and owner of the car after a missed email. If BookaClassic could follow up on comms it would be better. But - This is a great Service and If I have a need again - one I would book - So thank you.

I recently hired John and his Mercedes for my wedding in July and what a fantastic experience it was working with him! He is an absolute gentleman, very easy to communicate with both prior to the day itself and on the day. We had a fair bit of rain on the day to contend with, but it didn’t dampen John’s spirits in the slightest. John’s Mercedes is magnificent. It is flawless and so well kept, exactly what we had hoped for. The combination of the car and John’s driving made the ride so comfortable and enjoyable, with good conversation along the way. The Mercedes featured in many of our photos from the day and it photographs just as stunning as it looks in person. Thanks so much for being part of our day John!

Andy made the day perfect from start to finish for our wedding day. He was charming and friendly and went out of his way driving us through the country lanes to soak up the views while we sipped champagne. The car is beautiful, If you are looking to hire a classic car for your special occasion, this car is a must.

Unfortunately the Bentley that we booked wasn't available, but John had another Bentley available for the prom. Smaller but suitable. John told us that other people paid him extra to the advertised price, we felt that paying £495 was ample. John sent us a screen shot showing that he only got paid £360 for the booking. We found this confusing as our booking included a booking fee. So it seemed wrong that he didn't get paid more of the price we paid.

Plus, when a last minute issue (due to rain) arose with the car I'd originally booked, he apologetically and immediately offered several other options for us, one of which was another incredible vintage car that I think worked out even better than the original choice. Couldn't have had a better experience, it was really just so much fun! (especially watching all the heads turn as we drove through sunny Sydney in a red Chevy Impala convertible!)

Today was magical, thank you to David from the bottom of our hearts for making every effort to ensure such a beautiful car was punctual, gleaming and perfectly well chauffeured by his good self. In all respects he went the extra mile and I am just over the moon with the way the day went, transporting the groom and father of the bride and then the wedded couple in absolute style - something about Matilda in ribbons seemed to bring out honks of joy from every car you passed! The flowers in the back window were stunning, thoughtful and touching, and he even managed my request to have the playlist I sent ready to go. On top of that, at the last minute you pitched in in a hundred little ways and one very big way (he is a fab photographer!!!) which given the nature of our little group and the restrictions of the time, went a long way. On top of all that he did a journey timings rehearsal too, which I thought was above and beyond. We felt we had much more than a driver and his car today, more like a guardian angel. For being such a professional, decent and dedicated man, we will never forget him.

I booked this stunning car way back in January 2020 for my sons wedding in April. Due to covid restrictions the date was moved a further 3 times eventually going ahead in August 2021. Ajit was very understanding and agreed to each change as they happened. He was in constant contact with me throughout, by phone or text for any updates on our plans and reassuring me that he will be at the pick up point at the specified time. This beautiful car was presented immaculately, polished to perfection, even the door hinges and pins were gleaming (I wasn't looking specifically at them, its just that I couldn't help but notice). This car is the finest example of a Cortina GXL I've ever seen, absolute perfection down to the finest detail. Ajit is extremely passionate about his car and provided us with a lovely insight about its history and its future. He treated us with the upmost curteousy, driving us to the venue as immaculate as the car. My son was thrilled and throughout the day the car became a major talking point amoungst him and his guests. I was as excited to meet Ajit as I was to see the car, he has been so kind and understanding. Not only did we have a beautiful car we had a wonderful caring gentleman looking after us. I cannot thank him enough for the effort he put into help making this a perfect day. I can assure anyone that books this car for their special occasion will not be disappointed in either this wonderful car or gentleman. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience. The classic 1971 Cadillac Eldorado started overheating after 25 miles. We were told that the car was operable and drivable. That we would receive 100 miles. Well, the car started smoking uncontrollably as if a gasket blew. There was black smoke coming through the vents and all outside the car. Fortunately, I didn't lose my life on the freeway. I wound up having to wait for AAA in the scorching heat for 3 hrs to tow it to an event which we practically missed. Then I had to use another service call of mine to tow the car back! To make matters worse, I had to pay FULL price when I was told I'd be contacted to work something out.

He was really receptive to working around my schedule! The vehicle itself was also beautiful, with many modern amenities. There's an Aux cable installed so you can charge you can connect your phone! This was especially helpful because I was able to keep my phone charged while I drove long distances. Bluetooth was a little trickier, but once I figured out the dial I was able to play music too! This model doesn't come with a side mirror on the passenger side, but you quickly adjust to it. The rear view is angled so can see your blindspot. It was a real treat to drive and ran beautifully! Can't recommend this car enough!
